About Angels for Abacos
Our Organization
Angles for Abacos is a student run organziation founded by Olivia Menendez, Sophia Lorente and Ricardo Martinez, who are committed to assisting health clinics in the Bahamas in desperate need of medical supplies. After a recent visit to a clinic in the Abacos for treatment and having spoken with their medical team, we were deeply affected by the experience and determined to provide assistance. Upon researching, we learned that many hospitals and physicians in the United States often receive samples of medicines and supplies that regularly go to waste. These supplies could potentially be life-saving for the people of the Bahamas.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to seek the opportunity to visit with physicians across South Florida, to share the medical challenges of the islands and how they could be of assistance by providing donations. We are committed to gather these supplies and delivering them to those most in need.
