The Abacos is in dire need of medical supplies. Dorian, a Category 5 Hurricane which landed on September 1, 2019, was the worst experienced natural disaster to strike the Bahamas. The storm stalled over the islands leaving catastrophic damage.
Our first visit to a medical clinic in the Abacos, where we met Nurse Practitioner Katrina Sasine and toured the facility. We learned of the medicine and supply shortage they face and committed to help. Want to help? Volunteer by helping to gather necessary supplies.
